Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, outgoing, and personable individual to join our team as an intake person on our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients visiting our medical office, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth operations within the office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments accurately, ensuring efficient use of physician's time and proper coordination with other staff members.
• Manage incoming calls, screen and direct them appropriately, providing information or taking messages as needed.
• Verify patient information and insurance details, update records, and ensure all necessary forms are completed.
• Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and forms.
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to the appropriate staff members when necessary.
• Adhere to office policies and procedures, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as necessary.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a medical receptionist or similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks and procedures
• Strong knowledge of office equipment and computer systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Spanish and English preferred.
• Sales experience is preferred
• Outgoing personality, willing to follow up with clients over the phone

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
