We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to The North Penn Social Club is a full service bar and social hall perched atop the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company ​ Capable of hosting 145 guests and handicap accessible via a newly installed elevator, the social club is available for birthday parties, retirement parties or practically any event that you wish to host. We have a fully staffed and stocked bar with beer, wine and liquor. Please inquire about our stock and if we do not have what you would like, we are happy to order it for you for your party. ​ Catering is also available. We have a wide menu of items for you to choose from. Family Style and Buffet formats are available for your party. ​ Our full kitchen is available for your use if you choose to bring your own food to your party. ​ We are also able to segment sections of the social club to hold separate meetings or to accommodate multiple groups. Organizational meetings are welcome..

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our patrons by crafting delicious drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Engage with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and offering recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, disposing of waste, sweeping and mopping the floors, and cleaning the bathrooms.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines, including responsible alcohol service practices (see RAMP and ServSafe requirements)
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems with precision.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and securing the premises.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and uphold the club's reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or similar role preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Certification in responsible RAMPs is a plus.
  • Maintain an understanding of the social clubs role as it pertains to the volunteer fire company.
