The Nguyen Ballato Law Firm is Hiring a Collections Representative Near Richmond, VA

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the firm's past due and or delinquent accounts.
  • Make outbound calls to recover past due accounts or negotiate a payment plan to collect in installments.
  • Answer inbound calls in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Evaluate problems and complaints of the callers and provide proper solutions to them.
  • Follow-up on delinquent accounts, update and maintain accurate financial records including accounting, receivable and credit records.
  • Maintain your accounts thoroughly and proficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Outlook)
  • 2 years Collections Experience
  • Experience with JST software a plus but not required
  • Positive demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to enter precise documentation notes on accounts
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change if needed
  • Knowledge of FDCPA
  • Ability to self-motivate with little oversight
  • Bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
