Responsibilities

The Investigative Analyst will be responsible to conduct/complete investigations reported to OPWDD/NYS Justice Center and consistent with OPWDD 624/633/625 regulations.

Documentation in OPWDD's Incident Reporting Managment Application (IRMA) as well as any relevant, internal systems or tools.

Participate in all OPWDD/Justice Center incident management trainings as determined by the Department Head. 

Participate in the Incident Review Committee (IRC) for the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Services division.

Flexibility for hybrid work (as determined); travel to all agency sites across NYC's five boroughs; however not limited to Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties (as needed) for interviews.

Qualifications

Must be/become certified to conduct Abuse/Neglect investigations by the NYS Justice Center.

Strong background in Developmental Disabilities and/or Social Services.

Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication; task-oriented with good attention to detail.

Ability to utilize technology and equipment provided by the agency (laptop connection to the internet), smart phones and alike.
