The New School Montessori Center in Holly Springs, North Carolina, is seeking a highly motivated teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The New School is located 25 minutes from downtown Raleigh and serves over 200 students, infants through 8th grade.

We are looking for a teacher for children ranging in age from two years to six years old.

Our ideal candidate is a creative and dedicated professional who is passionate about guiding and supporting young children. Candidates must have knowledge or experience of the Montessori approach and be willing to continue their education and training in this field. Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate initiative, and be a supportive and motivated member of a teaching team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
- Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and implement innovative teaching strategies

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Montessori certification and/or experience is a plus!
- Proven experience as a Teacher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for education
