The Neato Company is Hiring a Finance Manager for a Rapid Growth eCommerce Company Near Las Vegas, NV

This job is in-office with the ability to occasionally work from home in Las Vegas. We will not consider remote applications.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to spearhead our financial operations and strategy. This role will lead all finance areas including finance, accounting, HR, accounts payable, and will be pivotal in designing systems around all financial aspects of our organization. This role will also entail delivering financial KPIs, deploying and tracking departmental P&Ls, creating in-depth financial models, and ensuring the growth and profitability of the organization.

You are a seasoned finance professional with experience as a senior analyst, manager or director in the e-commerce or retail sector, or have many years of experience in investment banking, but are comfortable with working in a fast-paced startup environment. You enjoy building processes from the ground up. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and crunch numbers, working long hours to get the finance department humming and building and managing a small team. You have a passion for working with data, creating robust financial systems, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations including finance, accounting, human resources, and accounts payable, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Build processes and procedures around standard accounting, expense reporting compliant with GAAP accounting practices. 
  • Develop, implement, and manage financial KPIs for all teams, supporting overall strategic objectives.
  • Manage and optimize departmental P&Ls, ensuring sustained profitability and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Create detailed quarterly budget and near and long term projection models to guide decision-making and planning for all business units.
  • Maintain and foster banking relationships to negotiate optimal credit lines and ensure smooth financial operations (Chase Commercial Bank Investment Partners)
  • Assist in capital raising efforts, developing and presenting compelling financial narratives to potential investors.
  • Implement strict policies and procedures around cash flow, enabling transparency, accountability, and improved financial health.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues, offering data-driven insights to your fellow leaders to support growth.
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning, supporting the financially literate CEO and executive team with data and insights to shape strategic direction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance related field. MBA or equivalent is a preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, ideally within e-commerce or retail sector.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, demonstrating a track record of supporting business growth with robust financial strategies.
  • Experience with managing banking relationships and credit lines, demonstrating an ability to negotiate effectively and manage complex financial arrangements.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and financial forecasting, with demonstrated proficiency in using financial software and spreadsheets for complex analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, lead, and manage a team toward shared objectives.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear and concise terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, adapting to rapid change and working under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to speak to all aspect of the business in front of a Board and future investors
  • Experience with Sage or NetSuite Preferred
