Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company. You will assist in managing the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints
- Train and develop team members to deliver outstanding performance
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
- Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop sales strategies and meet targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficient in retail math and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop employees
- Strong negotiation skills to handle vendor relationships
- language skills (if applicable) are a plus
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with phone etiquette
