Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Acting Coach to join our team. As an Acting Coach, you will be responsible for providing guidance and instruction to individuals with Special Needs interested in pursuing acting as a career or hobby. Your role will involve teaching acting techniques, helping students develop their skills, and preparing them for auditions and performances.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct acting classes and workshops for students of all ages and skill levels

- Teach acting techniques, including improvisation, character development, and scene study

- Assist students in developing their acting skills through exercises and rehearsals

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their performances

- Prepare students for auditions, performances, and competitions

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to create a supportive learning environment

- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the field of acting

- Assist with the development of curriculum and lesson plans

Experience:

- Previous experience as an Acting Coach or similar role

- Strong knowledge of acting techniques and principles

- Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels

- Familiarity with childhood development and adult education principles

- Ability to tailor instruction to meet the needs of individual students

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of other performing arts disciplines such as dance or photography is a plus

- Experience in curriculum development is preferred

- Sewing or costume design experience is a plus
