JOB SUMMARY: TheBenefit Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring member eligibilityand enrollment are processed accurately and timely. The position will work collaboratively acrossmultiple functional areas to ensure accuracy of member records.
A successful candidate for this role hasexperience executing complex, detailed and time bound processes with an analyticalmindset and is comfortable with working with large data sets.
A candidate who is motivated and resourcefulwith strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills will thrive in thischallenging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Generally will be back office, will follow up with members as needed, but generally the member services team is the primary for that function.
- Being able to work comfortably with LARGE amounts of data. Analytical skills
- Solution oriented.
- Can work both team and independent
- Savvy with Excel: Between Intermediate and expert - V look ups, X look up, formulas.
- Will take the data and every week will send vendors a list of people who are eligible for benefits.
- Less analytics on interpreting data and more about picking out the differences, highlight those and understand why those are changing.
- 140 employers/and piece that out in 4 different groups and trying to get that down to a single group. Once the team is all in place, then they’ll divide out all the roles and responsibilities, make sure everyone is up to speed.
