Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients and support our medical staff in delivering high-quality services.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal
- Assist in patient assessments and care planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on healthcare needs and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Proficient in electronic health records systems, preferably Athenahealth
- Experience working in medical office settings following standards of care
- Knowledge of behavioral health and occupational health practices
- Experience working with children and administering injections
- Competency in airway management and ICU procedures
- Familiarity with primary care principles
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in primary care or specialty clinics
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff efficiently
