Manchester family is seeking a part-time Care Providerfor their social and energetic young daughter who experiences autism. Sheenjoys playing outside, especially at local parks, and building with Legos.
Applicantshould be familiar with ABA therapy techniques and have experience working withchildren who experience autism. When frustrated she may have maladaptivebehaviors, including flopping to the ground, throwing things or yelling. 1:1supervision is required at all times due to bolting.
$13 -$16 per hour based on experience.
Typicalschedule is 15 hours per week, after school and school vacations. Training tobe provided upon hire.
Requirementsinclude passing criminal and driving record background checks, a Bureau ofElderly & Adult Services check, possessing a valid motor vehicle licenseand reliable car, and providing acceptable references.
