In-Person Assistant & Social Media Specialist

The Model Home is a small business specializing in home organization services. We are seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our team and assist with our social media and various in-person assistant tasks.

Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic individual to help manage our social media platforms and perform various assistant duties such as product returns and inventory management. This is an in-person position, and we are not interested in social media management companies. The ideal candidate should have experience editing videos using CapCut, possess strong creative skills, and be willing to assist with other business operations as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit engaging video content for social media using CapCut.
• Assist with managing and updating social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Help with product inventory management.
• Handle returns and run errands.
• Collaborate on creative projects and marketing strategies.
• Other in-person tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing videos with CapCut.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving products.
• Must be available 1-2 days per week.

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Ellicott City, MD: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
