Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. If you have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations - Assist with food preparation as needed - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or complaints - Upsell additional products or menu items to increase sales Requirements: - Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required - Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Strong basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of retail math for inventory management is beneficial - Familiarity with food safety guidelines and procedures - Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds Join our team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional coffee experiences to our customers.
