In this job you will be trained on how to train the teachers. You will be training them on an evidence-based history content-literacy intervention program.

Technology Proficiency Requirements :

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint), including the ability to maintain an Outlook calendar.
• Demonstrated experience with Zoom, including setting up a Zoom account, scheduling Zoom meetings, recording Zoom meetings, uploading Zoom recordings to a shared SharePoint site.

Important Notes :

This position requires in-person work in middle schools. You must be able to pass a

background check given by the school district.

This position requires availability for meetings during the school day (8am-3pm).

Qualifications :

Masters’ degree and three to five years of teaching experience or a Bachelors’ degree and ten to fifteen years of teaching experience.

• History of excelling in prior teaching positions, particularly with content literacy.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in literacy instruction.
• Knowledgeable about reading processes, assessment, and instruction.
• Prior successful experience leading professional learning communities, conducting professional development, or coaching elementary, middle, or high school teachers is strongly desired.
• Ability to facilitate dynamic training, strong communication skills, and comfort speaking in front of groups.
• Demonstrated punctuality, preparedness, organization, and flexibility.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay : $40.00 per hour

Expected hours : 15 per week
