**Site Location:** San Antonio **Member Position Title:** Support Specialist **Program purpose:**
LiftFunds AmeriCorps program aims to help strengthen low-income BIPOC entrepreneurs, their financial well-being, and support community development in the cities they serve. The program serves small business owners impacted by COVID-19 in Alabama and Texas by meeting them where they are through services that are responsive to their unique needs, values, and preferences to strengthen their financial well-being. This position will help to address the needs of small business owners by conducting one-on-one consultations and seminars that cover a wide variety of financial and business life cycle management topics. **Description of duties:**
* Provide exceptional client support and follow-up as the first contact with the entrepreneurial community
* Manage and track inputs of impact data into CRM and support data collection and reporting for each center
* Identify and direct community members towards small business and entrepreneurial resources, mentors, and both internal and external programming
* Support stronger awareness and communication with entrepreneurial community through multiple digital tools including social media, newsletters, and interaction with community partners
**Minimum Qualifications:** -United States citizen, a United States national, or a lawful permanent resident alien -17 years or older at the start of service -High school diploma or its equivalent (or must agree to obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent) -Not have dropped out of elementary or secondary school to enroll as an AmeriCorps participant -Agrees to provide information to establish eligibility and to complete a National Service Criminal History Check

No more than 20 percent of the aggregate of all AmeriCorps member service hours in our program, as reflected in the member enrollments in the National Service Trust, may be spent on education and training activities. **Orientation and Training**
Member orientation will cover topics such as LiftFund's mission, organizational structure, Business Action Plan, financial literacy tools, intake and post-evaluation forms, confidentiality policies, member benefits, data collection and research methods, and the roles and responsibilities of each AmeriCorps member. **Evaluating and Reporting**
LiftFund will conduct and keep a record of at least a midterm and an end-of-term written evaluation of each members performance. The end-of-term evaluation will address, at a minimum, the following factors:
1. Whether the member has completed the required number of hours
2. Whether the member has satisfactorily completed assignments
3. Whether the member has met other performance criteria that were clearly communicated at the beginning of the term of service.
The member understands that to complete the term of service successfully and to be eligible for the education award, he/she must complete the duration of their service (1700 hours) and satisfactorily complete all assignments, tasks, or projects and all required timesheets and data collection reports.
