Position Summary

A Skilled Laborer – Concrete is required to perform a variety of tasks including setting up platforms & access on drilled shafts, chipping & prep/pour concrete.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near-misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety first, in everything we do.
• Setting up platforms on drilled shafts.
• Setting up access into 8' diameter shafts, along with ladders, fall protection, and retrieval.
• Chipping Concrete around internal rebar cages.
• Removal of concrete using tuggers, etc.
• Prep and pour concrete and grout.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in confined spaces up to 50' depth
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies

Necessary Attributes:

• Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Reliance on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
• Dedicated and hard working

• Must have at least 3 years Heavy Civil Construction experience.
• Required to perform tasks that include heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
• Must be able to wear fall protection.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2-5 years of Heavy/Civil Construction experience.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist.
• Must be able to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
