The Mid-America Management Corporation is Hiring a Leasing Consultant (Part-time) Near Lakewood, OH
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant at one of Cleveland's premier apartment communities in the Gold Coast. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal home. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential residents
- Provide detailed information about the property, amenities, and lease terms
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections
- Respond to tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating advertisements and managing online listings
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Knowledge of property management principles and practices is a plus
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and property management software, specifically MRI
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with tenants, colleagues, and vendors
