Job Description: 

Per Diem Emergency Services Clinicians provide psychiatric evaluation, crisis intervention, stabilization, disposition and referral services in consultation with the on-call psychiatrist for person’s in need of emergency psychiatric care appearing in our community hospital emergency departments. Shifts are flexible and include overnights and weekends, in-office and on-call hours.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities consist of rapid response, face-to-face assessment, diagnostic screening, wrap-around safety planning, and interventions responsive to client goals, needs, and resources. The ability to work closely with the ED health care team, on-call psychiatrists, and referral sources is crucial to the provision of high-quality accessible services.

Experience: 

Relevant experience in providing emergency mental health services is preferred.

Licensure/Certification: 

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and be licensed or license-eligible by the NH Board of Mental Health Practice
