The Mennel Milling Company is Hiring an Utility Technician (FT) Near Fostoria, OH
The purpose of this position is to assist in the daily operations and sanitary condition of the facility. This position will sustain the Mission and Motto and Food Safety and Quality Statement of the Mennel Milling Company.
- Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
- Empty all trash and metal containers.
- Operate floor scrubber and other floor cleaning equipment.
- Basic building and grounds maintenance.
- Painting and cleaning of floors and walls.
- Operate a pressure washer.
- Keep company vehicles clean and perform basic maintenance.
- Dispose of truck and auto parts to proper location and/or container.
- Operate a forklift and a man lift (A Plus).
- Operate trailer wash bay per company SOP.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- This position has no supervisory duties.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to use and understand tools.
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
