Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and manage our organization's operations department. The Director of Operations will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all operational aspects of the company. This includes financial management, cost control, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statement preparation, corporate accounting, and financial analysis.

Duties:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Oversee financial management activities, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and cost control
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategic plans for the organization
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards, including International Accounting Standards (IAS)
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify potential risks or opportunities for the organization
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the operations department
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management on operational performance

Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent financial management skills, including corporate accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices
- Exceptional financial report writing skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed financial analysis
- Experience in cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency
- Ability to make sound investment decisions based on financial analysis
- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) is preferred
