What you'll do:

• Assist Product Development Manager in Sample Coordination, Data Entry, WIP/Calendar creation and maintenance for each client.
• Communicate daily with contractors & fabric mills regarding program requirements. Design requests and program changes, fabric issues/testing/ordering, trims & any product development issues.
• Ensure on-time delivery as outlined in the calendar
• Adhere to and maintain quality in all aspects of development
• Attend initial Design Development meetings with designers to understand fabrics, trims and silhouettes for seasonal development.
• Work closely with Production to allocate styles to factories/pattern makers
• Work with fabric and trim vendors to source and develop necessary fabrics and trims, including research on new concepts
• Maintain integrity of all styles, accountable for ensuring all changes are reflected on all samples. Secure all proto, test, and SMS fabric yardage needed for all samples.
• Responsible for maintaining status of all fabrics and trims.
• Manage sample status from 1st proto to SMS samples. Coordinate with factories to receive all samples within a timely manner
• Work closely with Merchandising and Design for SMS sample list
• Travel to fabric/trim/vendor trade shows to source new qualities and resources
• Source/Develop fallback options for all core fabrications

Who you are:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Product Development.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus (Apparel Magic is what we use).
• Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, and able to prioritize multiple task
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem analysis and problem solving skills
• Must have a can-do attitude and strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
