Our drivers are responsible for ensuring that all clients are properly cared for as they are transported to and from their destination. We go above and beyond to create a warm and friendly environment to help our clients feel safe and cared for. Our door to door service is also offered to residents of the Greater New Haven area that no longer drive. Mary Wade is a dynamic, resident centered environment with the highest standards of care and the Transportation Team goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the well-being of thes.

We take the time to talk with, and listen to, those we care for and do whatever it takes to get the job done. Our goal is to create moments of joy as often as possible. Listening to understand, demonstrating kindness, concern and tender loving care are part of our core practices. Stringent infection control guidelines are followed to ensure resident and employee safety.

Everyone is held accountable to these standards. Our resident population is primarily seniors with varying levels of acuity.

Schedule:

• 1 Full-time Opening (40 hours per week)
• 1 Part-time Opening (20 hours per week)
• Per diem weekday opportunities available.

Shift times will vary based on the needs of our residents and various appointments.

Hourly Rate: $ 16.00

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a valid CT Driver’s License AND a 'P', ‘A’, or ‘F’ endorsement.
• Experience working with Seniors strongly preferred.
• Must have flexible schedule to work weekday hours.
• Must have excellent safety record and a clean driving record.
• Must have positive energy and enthusiasm
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience and outstanding customer service when interacting with clients and their families.
• Experience using a wheelchair lift strongly preferred
