Job Description

The Meat Manager provides friendly, courteous, and great customer service. Cuts, trims, chops, grinds and prepares meat and places on trays. As a Meat Manager at our company, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the food industry and make a significant impact on the quality and taste of the products we offer to our customers.

Job Duties

Proven experience in meat management and/or meat cutting.
Strong knowledge of meat selection, preparation, and presentation.
Ability to manage and lead a team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our meat department.
Proven ability to build sales and achieve financial goals including gross margin and labor costs. Able to use technical and financial information to identify and solve problems.
Experience in managing production, ordering and inventory control.
Manages inventory to ensure selection, freshness, and availability of product to drive sales. Follows procedures for effective inventory control.
Works closely with Category Director to effectively implement promotional programs, merchandising and pricing plans.
Manages department budget and achieves financial goals including sales, gross margin and labor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.80 per hour
