Our staff members are dependable, energetic team players who are passionate about hospitality. They represent downtown Fayetteville and the MacPherson House well by welcoming guests, assisting them with questions, and keeping the B&B clean and operating at a high standard.

Job Duties include:

• Daily housekeeping and laundry

• Deep cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens to a high standard

• Keeping entrances, common rooms, hallways, and outdoor areas clean

• Providing a warm and accommodating service for our guests

• Keeping track of inventory to maintain adequate supplies

• Logging maintenance issues to help keep our properties safe and secure

• Watering plants and gardening

Duties also include:

• Baking cookies, muffins, etc.

• Answering the phone, taking guest reservations, handling special requests, etc.

• Preparing and serving breakfast

We are looking for a high-energy, part-time staff member to join our team whose primary responsibilities are to clean guest rooms, prepare and serve breakfast, and assist with customer service at our bed & breakfast. Additionally, they are responsible for cleaning and preparing our event space for functions and keeping common areas clean.

Key Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

• Comfortable performing housekeeping duties, including cleaning rooms

• Capable of preparing and serving breakfast

• Skills to step into management roles when needed

• Reliable, meticulous, and a team player with a good command of the English language

• Must have reliable transportation

• Background and drug screen checks, including random checks, are required

Schedule:

• Hours are from 7:45 am - 3:00 pm, typically four days a week

• MUST include weekends and holidays, as that’s when we host guests

• Punctuality and reliability when scheduled are critical

The MacPherson House business is growing rapidly, and we are looking for growth-oriented staff members who seek to grow with us and contribute to the uplifting, serene environment that guests enjoy and wish to return to.
