Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to join our team. As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for leading yoga classes and providing guidance to participants. Duties: - Conduct yoga classes for individuals or groups of varying skill levels - Develop and implement class plans that align with participants' goals and abilities - Demonstrate proper techniques and postures to ensure safety and maximize benefits - Provide modifications and adjustments to accommodate participants with different needs or limitations - Educate participants on the principles and philosophy of yoga - Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants - Monitor participants' progress and provide feedback or guidance as needed - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and best practices in yoga instruction Qualifications: - Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized program or institution - Experience teaching yoga classes to individuals or groups - Strong knowledge of various yoga styles, including but not limited to: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative - Familiarity with other fitness disciplines such as personal training, kickboxing, cycle, Pilates, CrossFit, or dance is a plus - Understanding of human anatomy and physiology related to movement and exercise - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate participants - Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals - Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and connect with diverse populations - Knowledge of body mechanics and proper alignment techniques to prevent injuries We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
