Summary:

Louver Shop is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Production Lead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the creation and manufacturing of goods within the company. This position will be responsible for start-up and day-to-day operations of new product manufacturing.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Lead production for shutter manufacturing department.
• Manage day-to-day team activities to reach operating results (delivery, quality, cost).
• Set operating priorities for multiple department.
• Plan and balance work between dedicated team members.
• Coach, train, and support team members in completing projects on time.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in production.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor to develop production plan and determine workflow requirements.
• Control production process and calibrate equipment for operational efficiency.
• Monitor production and ensure quality and completeness of goods for purpose.
• Identify and resolve areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
• Train new employees as needed on the proper use of machines and safety standards.
• Routinely check production equipment for malfunctions or defects.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in production management
• Specific experience in shutters or window treatment manufacturing.
• Previous experience directing production teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to perform basic maintenance and upkeep on equipment.
• Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
• Bilingual (Spanish – English) required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
