Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and food items. Your role will also involve cash handling and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties: - Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations - Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods - Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, countertops, and seating areas - Restock supplies as needed and maintain inventory levels - Follow all company policies and procedures regarding food safety and hygiene - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely service Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required - Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages - Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
