Lorenz Clinic of Family Psychology is seeking an experienced Product Manager (PM) to lead a novel application of product and service design management methodologies to improve the practice’s value proposition for key customers and stakeholders including patients and psychotherapists. The chief accountability of this role is Net Revenue Retention (NRR) emanating from a healthy, engaged clinical workforce in a highly competitive landscape.
As the sole PM at Lorenz Clinic, you will function as the practice's development manager, be embedded within a large mental health practice, you are responsible for leading the development of workplace-related value and optimize the practice’s fit for its primary customers– mental health clinicians, who have one of the most difficult but integral jobs in society.
This role will set the vision, strategy, and delivery of practice features and capabilities that ensure Lorenz is creating the right experiences for its guests and clinicians at the right locations and at the right time in their journey. To deliver these new and innovative methods for managing and executing the clinic’s vision, you will collaborate across clinic locations and functions, with both clinical and operations partners.
You will work directly with the founder to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for practice development. You will need to leverage the knowledge of the practice (your product), as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes. You will lead a product and work in unison with clinical and operations leaders, human resources, and business partners to deliver value to clinicians who seek a work environment conducive to wellness.
You will continually monitor product-market fit and be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met, and that the executive team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.
This is a rare, healthcare- and service-focused PM role. The provider side is where it’s at in healthcare, and this role provides invaluable and coveted practice-level experience paired with a noble mission— a place where a PM can work on a product that directly impacts people’s lives and the community in profound ways.
The exact job title of this role is being developed, but it will likely be similar to Practice Development Manager, Product Manager, or similar, though product management is the keystone of the role in both philosophy and methodology.
