Job Description
We are looking for a Closed Captioning Editor for an upcoming project making video ADA compliant for a government agency. This is a part-time, remote position. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
Closed Captioning Editor professionals with knowledge of Section 508, W3C, and/or WCAG to assist with captioning and transcription supporting experience. A successful Closed Captioning Editor will have a deep grasp of video accessibility issues as well as the video production pipeline and will be able to confidently advise and respond to requests from a variety of sources.

Required Skills
* Experience and knowledge of Section 508 requirements for closed captioning
* Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent grammar and listening skills
• Ability to work with team as well as operate independently
• Deep understanding of video accessibility concerns
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously according to planned timelines
