JOB SUMMARY FOR RECEPTIONIST

The Receptionist will perform a variety of routine clerical tasks in support of the business office.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RECEPTIONIST

· Provides general office support for the entire facility in support of administrative functions of all departments.

• Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system for the administrative office and the facility. Retrieves information from files when needed.

• Sorts and distributes mail.

• Assists the Administrator and other department heads with the daily operations of the entire facility. May be assigned temporary or long-term assignments in various departments.

• Handles employee requests regarding Human resource issues, rules, and regulations.

• Answers the telephone in a prompt, professional manner.

• Greets visitors promptly, in a professional manner.

• Assists with HR duties as assigned.

• Responsible for the scheduling the transportation of our residents. Ensuring there is communication between departments as to resident’s appointments and transportation needs.

• Responsible for completing background checks for all resident within 24 hours of admission.

• Ability to work independently.

• All other duties as assigned by the Administrator and/or Business Office Manager
