Qualifications:

  • Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
  • Experience in Mental and Behavioral health preferred.
  • CNA/ NAR or HHA Certificate preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in working as a caregiver with older adults with physical or mental health needs preferred.
  • Scheduling/staffing experience preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and/or abuse background check,and drug screening.

Essential Job Functions and Tasks:
Estimated time.

  • 40% - On-floor Engagement and Schedule Management (CustX/Sat, CC)
  • 30% - Inspire & Motivate (Lead-Rounds)
  • 15% Direct Care (Labor # and Rounds)
  • 10% Meetings & Admin
  • 5% Expectations & Direction (Manage – VC, Metrics)

Job Function: Support and live out values and mission of The Lodges Company. Develop, monitor and evaluate systems, programs and services that address needs of a very challenging and diverse resident population as well as the goals of The Lodges Company. Other tasks include:

  • Passionate about living out The Lodges Company core values.
  • Responsible for the experience of customers that enter the community. This includes the experience of new potential residents and their supports through tours.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with Operations Manager, Director of Nursing, Maintenance, Direct Care Staff, and residents.
  • Responsible for the presentation of the community to ensure the community is in good condition, and the appearance is welcoming, clean and organized.
  • Lead, manage and accountability of team.
  • Oversite of delegated lead responsibilities including scheduling, activities, food and supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Function: Lead responsibilities
Tasks:

  • Responsible for leading and assisting with assisting with special projects outside of the normal scope as assigned by supervisor.
  • Active participant in interdisciplinary meetings that may be held offsite.

Job Function: Staffing/Scheduling Management

  • Create and post the schedule for designated location within budgetary guidelines.
  • Problem solves staffing situations.
  • Foreshadow future staffing levels dependent upon census or extensive resident leave of absence.
  • Manage staff overtime within company guidelines.
  • Manage time off including PTO per company guidelines.
  • Support Operations to ensure that all call-ins and tardiness are documented.

Job Function: Activity Lead Management

  • Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
  • Create resident activity calendar.
  • Explain, train, and communicate planned activities with team.
  • Assess whether activities were successful and adjust.
  • Responsible for successful and engagement activity program at the site

Primary Purpose:
This position is a Lodges culture champion that is highly engaged in the community and actively seeks out ways to nurture and bring the Lodges culture to life in a way that inspires, energizes and rallies other employees. The Caregiver Lead is responsible for the customer experience as well as provider direct resident care to those we serve. Customers include staff, residents and any visitor, peer that enters the community. The position is responsible for overall resident satisfaction, is an executer and strong problem solver. This position is also accountable for leading and assisting with special projects and responsibilities; Activities, Food and Food Safety, Housekeeping and Household Supplies, and/or Staffing and Scheduling as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
