Looking for an individual to work in the Santa Fe office
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Fiscal oversight for contracts, grants, and restricted funding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Balances grant activity to the general ledger and prepares related reports.
Review Accounts Payable process.
Assists in maintenance of general ledger
Reviews grant expenses to ensure compliance with federal, state, local granting agency guidelines, and The Life Link’s internal policies.
Submits requests for reimbursements to granting agencies.
Works with payroll on grant related compensation issues.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with grant requirements.
Performs duties as assigned.

2. Knowledge of grant compliance requirements.
3. Knowledge of computerized systems.
4. Skills in decision making and problem solving.
5. Skills in oral and written communication.
6. Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
7. Ability to work on a fast paced sometimes stress large financial operation.

9. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field. Work experience may be substituted for education.
Licensure: None
Experience: At least three years’ experience with nonprofit fund accounting.
Physical Requirements: Able to sit for extended periods, lift up to 20 pounds.
OSHA-related: Moderate exposure to VDT. Exposure to bodily fluids and hazardous materials considered minimal
Other Requirements: Occasional instate travel
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 to 5
Must pass criminal background check

Medical Requirements: Must Pass Drug Screen
