Job Title: Bistro/Catering Cook

Pay: $15/Hour with Gratuity, Part Time, 

Schedule: Various hours including weekends, nights & holidays

Department: Events/Food and Beverage

Reports to: Catering Chef

The Leonardo is looking for an On-Call Catering Cook to join our team and mission. This person will have the knowledge and ability to help with dishwashing, food preparation, equipment maintenance and be a flexible problem solver. The ideal candidate has a background in food service and strong attention to detail.

 Responsibilities:

• Creative menu design and execution
• Be able to perform a variety of duties such as prepping foods, organizing, and removal of trash.
• Follow prep lists and additional responsibilities provided by the Chef/Food and Beverage Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dish area.
• Cooking and Presentation; producing visually appealing and flavorful dishes
• May work some shifts during which alcohol will be consumed by guests.
• Follow and adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Be available to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Problem Solving to address any issues or challenges that arise during service.
• Washing dishes and cleaning the back of the house.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Sips and Tips REQUIRED
• Must be 21 to apply.
• Current Food Handlers Permit REQUIRED.
• Dishwasher experience is required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Catering/Restaurant experience preferred.
• Culinary School preferred
