Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Director to join our team. As the Safety Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers compensation, OSHA regulations, risk management, and construction safety. QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
OSHA 510 & 500 certification is the minimum requirement for this position. The OSHA 510 is required prior to obtaining the OSHA 500 certification which certifies you as an OSHA Outreach Trainer able to teach the OSHA 10 and 30 programs.
OSHA 510; there are no prerequisites for this course. It is a weeklong course now available online.

OSHA 500 - Completion and Certification of the OSHA 510 course AND, minimum of 5- years of construction industry safety experience. Or a bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Experience must be documented on the Prerequisite Verification Form.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the development and maintaining of the company’s written Safety Program.
2. Compliance and Management of ISNETWORLD account.
3. Compliance and Management of Aveta account.
4. Compliance and Management of Veriforce account.
5. Compliance and Management of Cognibox account.
6. Compliance and Management of NET DMR (Environmental)
7. Understanding & Management of the EMR. (Employer Modification Rate)
8. Personnel Injury Management.
9. Safety Technician Management
10. Mill Safety liaison.
11. Determination of recordable and non-recordable incidents.
12. Explore new technology to assist day-to-day compliance.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
