Join LEMOINE as a Response Operations Intern and play a pivotal role in the Disaster division. Job Responsibilities:

• Support emergency managers with responses to emergency/disaster declarations.
• Support the building of vendor networks and vendor engagement.
• Analyze potential supply chain risks associated with pre-positioned contracts and support the development of plans to mitigate those risks.
• Support the development of emergency response plans.
• Works daily with the Project Managers in support of prepositioned logistics contracts.
• During an activation team will be expected to mobilize to support response efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• Majoring or Minoring in Disaster Science and Management, Homeland Security, or Emergency Management.
• Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools.
• Basic understanding of National Response Framework and NIMS. (Preferred)
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and software programs.
• Willingness to travel to disaster sites.
