Overview

We are seeking a part-time drone pilot with an FAA part 107 license for civil and commercial construction. Duties include supporting various construction projects with visual inspections, photogrammetry, video, or other measurement tools. This involves operating a company UAV in accordance with all applicable Rules and Regulations. A pilot must be comfortable operating the drone within close proximity to buildings and other objects and infrequently, in flight conditions that are less than ideal.

Responsibility/Duties

Pilot will conduct project mapping and documentation using DroneDeploy or DJI Flight Hub 2. Responsibilities include coordinating with the LEMOINE internal project team and property owners, scheduling flights, completing flights, and returning data from flights. May be asked to estimate earthwork quantities. Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities during assigned work hours. Pilot will be required to act & present themselves in a professional manner while representing LEMOINE and our clients. Frequent travel to various project sites will be required.

Required Qualifications

• Must be Proficient in LAANC (DroneDeploy preferred) Airspace Authorizations as well as use of the FAA DRONE ZONE.
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Work toward a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Prior drone operating experience preferred.
• FAA UAS Part 107 Certification or ability to obtain within 3 weeks is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and technical components required.
