The Lemoine Company is Hiring a Restoration Assistant Project Manager Near Baton Rouge, LA

Join LEMOINE as a Restoration Assistant Project Manager and play a pivotal role in the Disaster division. Your expertise in demolition, restoration, and construction will be key to maintaining our commitment to quality workmanship, meeting deadlines, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and executing large loss restoration projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensures crews have the equipment and material needed to perform work.
  • Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians and supervise their activities.
  • Maintains daily documentation of activities, moisture logs, communications, and equipment.
  • Conduct basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold to include but not limited to the following: wipe down, pack, inventory control, wrap goods, load and unload vehicle.
  • Communicate regularly with peers within the business unit as well as customers, and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and resolve problems and challenges, ensuring sound execution of contracted efforts.
  • Including but not limited to Temporary Labor selection, Equipment procurement and inventory, On-site management, Paperwork accuracy, and Quality Control.
  • Effectively organizes and prioritizes work to ensure overall program timelines and performance measures are met.
  • Monitors contracts for safety requirements participates in crisis/emergency management planning, and documents compliance while alerting project supervision to hazards and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of disaster restoration industry and/or construction industry required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Travel is required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Disaster, Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience. (Preferred)
  • 2 years of professional experience.
  • IICRC Certifications: ASD - Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT - Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, OCT - Odor Control Technician, and WRT - Water Damage Restoration Technician. (Preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, and software programs.
  • Solid skills in the areas of math, budgeting, and financial analysis, as well as excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
