What you will do as aCaregiver

• Care for your assignedresidents and assist with activities of daily living which may include helpingthem get up in the morning, toileting, bathing, getting dressed, eating, bed linen changes

• Assist withmobility/transferring residents to prevent falls

• Encourage residents toengage in scheduled activities, entertainment, exercise and dining

• Provide companionshipthrough conversation and quality time

• Responding to call lights toaddress falls and other potential emergencies

• Performing and documentingduties as outlined in Individual Resident Care Plans

• Monitor and promptlycommunicate changes in resident condition to relevant care team

The ability to effectively respond tovarying moods of residents requires compassion and flexibility Being a good companion requires listeningand empathy Caregivers stick to the rules andare relied upon to be honest and responsible Good communication with Nurse, Diningstaff, Activities team, Medicine Technicians and families relative to on-goingcare and needs of residents
Ability to maintain professionalismin appearance and demeanor
