Job Responsibilities:

As a Childcare Teacher with The Learning Village, your duties include:

  • Engaging with children aged from infancy to 3 years old.
  • Supervising children in the classroom environment.
  • Fostering social and emotional skills development.
  • Creating and executing lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Tracking and documenting children's progress.
  • Providing individualized attention to each child.
  • Assisting in organizing special activities and meal preparation.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Collaborating with parents and colleagues to support child development.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports.

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

Education: Minimum of an associate's degree in Early Childcare or in a related Field.

  • At least 2 years of experience with children, including babysitting or nannying.
  • Leadership skills to facilitate children's growth and development.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in early childhood education.
  • Effective communication abilities with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certification through provided training.
  • Compliance with licensing standards, including physical exams and clearances.
