Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will lead classroom activities, develop lesson plans, and provide guidance to assistant teachers. Duties: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Provide individualized attention and support to students - Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents - Collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure smooth classroom operations - Manage student behavior and promote positive social interactions - Utilize effective behavior management techniques - Incorporate Montessori principles into daily activities - Promote literacy education through storytelling, reading, and writing activities - Plan and organize field trips and special events - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting - Strong knowledge of child welfare and development principles - Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods is preferred - Experience working with diverse student populations - Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues - Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development - Experience in tutoring or providing academic support is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within our organization.
