Job Description:
The Preschool Teacher will implement the early childhood program as designed by the Learning Experience while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the safety and welfare of the children. The Preschool Teacher will serve in a co-teaching capacity based on center enrollment.
Qualifications:
The Preschool Teacher must comply with the minimum educational standards as set forth by the company and current governmental regulations.
Experience:
Previous experience in a group program for children under six years of age.
Requirements and Certifications:
Be of good character and reputation
Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional health to perform job duties satisfactorily
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children
Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management and parents
Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Preschool growth and development
Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by State and company regulations and policies
Pediatric CPR & First Aid
Working Conditions:
The Preschool Teacher shall be primarily assigned to a single childcare center and be able to implement The Learning Experience program during normal center hours and adhere to a schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The Preschool teacher may serve in a co-teaching capacity based on class enrollment and ratios. The Preschoolteacher may spend a lot of time on their feet and include both indoor and outdoor activities. The work can be demanding and stressful and requires flexibility in a fast paced environment. The variety of work entails the supervision of children, the ability to work with management and complete administrative tasks as well as the ability to assess the performance of students and communicate student progress with parents.
Primary*Responsibilities:
*First and foremost the Preschool Teacher’s responsibility will be to the safety and well-being of the children and staff while implementing the Preschool program in alignment with company policies, philosophiesand procedures. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all current government rules and regulations that pertain to the operation of The Learning Experience centers.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures contained in the Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, Student Enrollment Packet, and Curriculum Guides
Establish a well managed classroom incorporating all center programs within the daily schedule for Preschool.
Utilize a center-based approach to offer children an opportunity for creative and independent activities
Attend staff meetings, trainings and workshops as requested
Work with the Center Director to hold Open House and Parent Conferences
Maintain student records as required
Report all problems to the Center Director
Train and co-teach as requested
Prepare class materials
Prepare and distribute snack and lunch as required under the direction of the Center Director or Food andNutrition Coordinator
Maintain a “Tour Ready” classroom
Clean and maintain the classroom as described by daily checklist
Prepare children for entry into next classroom
Participate in company promotions
Work Remotely

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
