Position Overview:
As Teacher Support Staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our teaching team in delivering high-quality early childhood education programs. Your support will contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with experienced educators and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Support classroom management efforts by supervising children during various activities, transitions, and free play times.
  • Help prepare and organize materials, resources, and learning spaces to enhance the educational experiences of children.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, providing encouragement, guidance, and support as they explore and learn.
  • Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring children practice proper nutrition and hygiene habits.
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and center management to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment for all children.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred).
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is desirable.
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, children, and families.
  • Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and contribute to a positive and dynamic team environment.
