We are currently looking to fill the position of Legal Intake Specialist, a crucial role serving as the initial contact for individuals in need of legal assistance. The ideal candidate will be tasked with conducting thorough initial assessments, gathering essential information, and facilitating a seamless intake process.

In addition to outstanding communication skills and empathy, the successful candidate must possess a robust understanding of legal procedures. Furthermore, proficiency in active listening, problem-solving, and multitasking will be essential in managing inquiries effectively and efficiently. This role demands a keen attention to detail, as accurate data collection is paramount for providing appropriate legal guidance to individuals in need.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough interviews with potential clients to gather essential information about their legal issues.

· Provide empathetic and compassionate support to individuals seeking legal assistance.

· Educate clients on the legal process, their rights, and potential next steps.

· Record accurate and detailed information in our case management system.

· Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless transition from intake to case initiation.

  • Review and analyze calls and operational records to enhance collection of consultation fees, and retainers.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
  • Enhance client engagement by developing and refining consultation scheduling procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Client intake experience in either employment law, worker's compensation, or personal injury
  • Customer service experience with an emphasis on client satisfaction
  • Knowledge of employment law and/or worker's compensation law
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with a lead management software, preferably Lead Docket (although not required).

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or related field, or comparable work experience in sales and customer service.
  • At least one years of sales experience required.
