We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit and Collections Specialist to join their team that is based in Little Rock, AR.

The ideal candidate is local to the Little Rock area but wanting to work fully remote.

The Credit and Collections Specialist will play a critical role in managing the credit and collections process for their largest accounts.

This role focuses on business-to-business collections, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Credit and Collections Specialist Responsibilities :

• Manage the collections process for high-value accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues that may arise
• Monitor and review customer accounts to identify overdue invoices and take appropriate action
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue payments and resolve disputes
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing
• Assess credit risk and establish credit limits for new and existing customers
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer interactions
• Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding accounts and provide updates to management
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the collections process
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in credit and collections management

Credit and Collections Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of two years of experience in business to business credit and collections
• Experience with advanced Excel required (PivotTables & VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
