Billing Specialist Responsibilities :

• Review / resolve insurance statements, adjust accounts per office policy and contract agreements
• Identify insurance payment errors and appeal with medical records or phone calls when necessary
• Work EOBS daily
• Assists with insurance benefit inquiries, eligibility, forms and appeals
• Take payments for outstanding bills and makes payment arrangements upon patient request
• Knowledge of Insurance Claims Processing
• Process Accounts Receivables

Billing Specialist Requirements :

• 1 years of revenue cycle experience
• Working knowledge and experience with cash handling and payment processing
• Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines / regulations
