The Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care is looking for an energetic, and skilled receptionist to join our team on the weekends!

• Candidates must be able to work weekends
• $16.50 - $20 per hour DOE

Position Overview

The receptionist will be responsible for greeting the public and visitors, both in person and on the telephone. In addition, clerical and bookkeeping duties will be completed as assigned. The receptionist will be responsible for safeguarding the residents from elopement through the front door.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests and family members as soon as they arrive
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
• Experience as a caregiver or home health aid is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Upbeat personality and professional appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• High School Diploma or equivalent
