The Lakes Assisted Living & Memory Care is Hiring a Marketing Assistant (Full-Time) Weekends Required. Near Banning, CA

Description

The Lakes Assisted Living and Memory Care in Banning, CA are looking for a professional, energetic Marketing Associate to join their team.

In this role, you will be taking calls, and doing personal visits with prospective clients. You will also educate prospective residents and families on services, amenities, and the benefits of the assisted living lifestyle. Network in the community to establish referral sources.

Pay & Schedule Info

  • Full Time, although weekends are required.
  • $21.50 - $25.00 / DOE

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Maintain Mission, philosophies and values throughout the community.
  • Complete daily “walk through” of the community noting any areas that may need attention to ensure a high level of marketability. Give the list to the Executive Director
  • Provide personal visits.
  • Accept telephone inquiries, send any requested materials, and follow-up with a personalized Thank You note.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date tracking system using our computer program for every new prospect.
  • Develop a mailing list of referral sources and maintain contact by phone conversations, newsletter mailings, invitation to events, etc.
  • Assist the Executive Director in maintaining inventory of marketing collateral and promotional items.
  • Make a minimum of 2 community contacts and/or presentations per week to potential referral sources that include but not limited to physicians, clergy, discharge planners, senior groups, etc.
  • Assist with events for community relations to attract referrals and positive media attention.
  • Complete required daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested.
  • Assist with new resident move-ins in conjunction with the management team.
  • Assist with the completion of a written Competitive Analysis twice yearly. Monitor the services and amenities offered by other local providers.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director and staff trade shows and other special events.
  • Report any unusual incidents to the Marketing Director, Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
  • Respond and assist with any resident, staff, guest or community emergency.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Maintain all equipment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Maintain a professional caring approach when dealing with residents, families, staff, visitors, vendors and the general public.
  • Attend all meetings that the Marketing Director or Executive Director or Manager on Duty deems necessary.
  • Any other duties as required by the Marketing Director, Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
  • Participate in Manager on Duty Program as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of marketing and/or public relations experience, preferably in an Assisted Living environment
  • Continued education in gerontology, management, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience using Eldermark preferred

  • Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must possess strong oral, written, computer and telephone skills. Be dependable and have an outgoing, cheerful personality.
  • Must be certified in First Aid and CPR
  • Capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.
