Food & Beverage Manager
The Lake Club is a private club with numerous member amenities as well as a public catering facility set on the shores of the beautiful Lake Evans. Our 18 hole golf course is impeccably groomed, challenging yet fun. Members also enjoy a 24-hour access fitness center, extensively stocked pro shop, and a 2-story rustic Grille Room with private wine cellar. Our Pool and Recreation Center offers a large family pool featuring zero depth entry, slides, and diving boards, an adult pool with exclusive poolside bar and cigar bar, and full sized tennis and basketball courts. Outdoor dining on the terrace or Halfway House with full bar and numerous televisions is enormously popular. Our banquet facilities can host events up to 500 people for members and non-members. The facility features a flexible layout, lovely décor, modern amenities, and a stunning outdoor terrace overlooking Lake Evans. There are numerous banquet, dining, and meeting areas perfect for your special event.
General Requirements:

Job Duties:
  • Assigns work responsibilities, develops daily shift plans from schedule created by Director of Operations, ensures that all shifts are covered, and confirms completion of all daily / weekly cleaning tasks as necessary
  • Conducts and coordinates on-the-job training for associates, and ensures all associates receive basic skills training to perform their jobs
  • Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels
  • Provides recommendations for hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other status change of associates
  • Oversee employee relations within the F&B division; including staffing, coaching, discipline, training, performance appraisals, and performance management at the direction of the F&B Manager
  • Disseminates information to the F&B staff received from senior club management and may be required to periodically attend meetings
  • Acts as liaison between F&B and other operating departments on the property
  • Implements and maintains of standards of service quality, ensuring it is commensurate with a first class restaurant and event center
  • Ensures there are effective cost controls for food and beverage, as well as standards for productivity for F&B labor
  • Oversees and provides assistance in the F&B operations within the restaurants and banquets as needed, and on busy or VIP days/events. Serve as Manager-on-duty as needed or in absence of F&B Manager
  • Work as scheduled by the General Manager and Director of Operations; including supporting management and staff during Banquet and Club Events
  • May be assigned specific events as the manager in charge of operations and execution
  • Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet all standards and objectives regarding quality of service and maintaining superior levels of cleanliness and organization
  • Resolve all complaints in a timely manner and report to GM / Director once resolved
  • Will serve as Manager-on-Duty as assigned by the Director of Operations on a daily basis
