This role will oversee our Echuca and Wagga Wagga sites. Ideally based out of these locations, however, we welcome applicants from Melbourne or Sydney. You will also be required to travel.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a financial controller ensuring financial integrity with all process, internal controls and compliance (including internal audits and balance sheet reconciliations)
• Provide complete reviews of daily, weekly and monthly reports to site and central management
• Critically review factory spend and recoveries to support variance analysis and provide business insight on key metrics for month end, forecast and budget cycles
• Add value as a business partner to operations which include monitoring efficiency and utilisation trends in manufacturing processes and working on continuous improvement initiatives

• Assisting operations with standard costing reviews and BOM changes throughout the year.
• Review and assist with Capital Expenditure projects

About you:

• Tertiary qualified (Commerce/Accounting) with experience in management accounting and costing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with data analysis and presentation of data across variety of software applications including Excel
• Understanding of transactional processes/core ERP
• The ability to analyse and problem solve is paramount, along with good organisation and planning skills in order to meet deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Workload depends on changing business requirements so you would need to be flexible and able to perform the routine tasks while balancing ad hoc requests across multiple stakeholders
• Positive self-starter who can take the imitative and drive their own learning
