Description

SUMMARY: As a Premium Seating Supervisor, you represent TeamOps not only to the clients and guests, but also to the thousands of men and women who work part-time as Event Staff, Ushers, Ticket Takers, Guest Services and Parking Lot Security. How you treat employees will determine their attitude and the quality of service they provide our client and guests. TeamOps management expects its Premium Seating Supervisors to strive to be the best SUPERVISORS, COACHES, and TEACHERS they can be.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. At check in, collect all pertinent documentation for the day that includes the Supervisor folder, deployment, credential lists, specific area documentation such as prohibited items lists, bag template sizes, etc.
  2. Collect all tools; such as radios, scanners, bag check supplies, handstamps, black lights, ponchos, hand warmers or anything else pertinent to your area of responsibility
  3. Attend Pre-event Briefings
  4. Assist in the deployment of staff.
  5. Ensure collection of allocated staff
  6. Ensure the integrity of the deployment process by ensuring staff make themselves available for the critical deployment needs.
  7. Brief staff on event expectations specific to staffing and special activations that may be happening in the assigned areas.
  8. Conduct skills-based practices in identifying prohibited items, screening, bag checks and other pertinent security operations to your area
  9. Reinforce customer service standards.
  10. Prepare for public opening in assigned areas; look for safety hazards, identify areas that need to be addressed using VizSafe
  11. Oversee staff during the event ensuring they are performing their duties and are overall cared for and fan safety.
  12. For supervisors assigned to an elevator lobby it may be necessary to assist in sorting guests to the various levels and ensure that the elevator is loaded with guests going to the higher levels in the back for a smooth experience.
  13. Retrain staff that are not adhering to performance standards.
  14. Make staffing adjustments when needed to ensure staff are properly performing duties.
  15. Reinforce uniform standards; shirts tucked in, jackets zipped or buttoned, personal shirts not hanging out from under the jacket.
  16. Maintain radio communication with the Area Manager, Event Management team, Security event liaison, observation and command throughout the event. Respond to calls from these areas and managers. Call into these areas to report issues needing immediate attention.
  17. Document any incidents using the incident report form.
  18. Supervisors play an extremely important role in the emergency operation plan. Each Supervisor will be responsible for carrying out the directions given by the Area Managers and Event Security Liaison.
  19. Supervisors will be responsible for:
    • Immediately moving to their assigned rally point.
    • Follow directions given by the Area Manager(s).
    • Conducting roll call of all staff including staff in their area of responsibility
    • Reporting all missing staff to the Area Manager
    • Coordinating the safe evacuation of guests and non-essential staff as directed
    • Staying in constant communication with the Area Manager(s)
    • Securing any access points in their area of responsibility
    • Assist emergency personnel as needed
  20. Work with public safety officials to ensure the safety of guests and staff in the venue.
  21. Address guest complaints and questions.
  22. Evacuate guests from the venue at the conclusion of events.
  23. Ensure all staff are released at the conclusion of their shift to sign out.
  24. Return all equipment to admin at the conclusion of the event.
  25. Complete supervisor reports
  26. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Event staff such as Gate Staff & Usher Ticket Takers
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead position
  • Robust knowledge of Security Operations and NFL best practices
  • Effective listening and communication skills, oral and written
  • Capable of managing time and multi-tasking as required
  • Ability to remain calm, work under pressure and de-escalate situations
  • Ability to work events including nights and weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to work for prolonged periods
